It's an iPhone on rails.
(Credit: Glidetrack)Considering all the recent smartphone camera upgrades, the next Orson Welles may be getting his start armed with nothing more than an iPhone 4S and a Mobislyder camera stabilizer.
The Mobislyder from Glidetrack looks a bit like a skateboard with four screaming green feet. It comes with a variety of mounts to fit a wide selection of smartphones, handheld camcorders, and compact cameras.

(Credit: Glidetrack)The Mobislyder doesn't roll around, but it does put your smartphone on smooth rails to dispense with all that "NYPD Blue" camera shake you get from handheld video shots.
The mounts swivel around so that the glider track can be used at any angle. It weighs just over a pound for amateur auteurs on the go.
The example videos show off smooth tracking shots that would be difficult or impossible to achieve by hand. It still requires a steady touch to guide the video device manually along the glider.
